no more 和no longer在具体使用上有何区别,能否举几个例子说明?

no longer与 no more的区别：

no longer= not --- any longer 意为“不再”，在句中起副词作用，用来修饰延续动词，指某事从时间上讲以后不会再发生，其时间不再延续。例：
1、After a year he could not wait any longer.
一年后他不能再等了。
2、He is no longer a student.
他不再是学生了。

no more= not---any more,也表示“不再”之意，常用来修饰非延续性动词，表示今后不再重复以前发生的动作，多指数量或数上的“不再”，强调终止界限。例：
I will go there no more.
我再也不去那儿了。
She didn't come any more.
