什么是barbatuques

Barbatuques is a Brazilian body percussion group, that uses their body as an instrument. The group develops music based on the explorations of numerous sounds that can be produced by the human body. Claps, startles, taps, slaps, voice effects and other various sounds, are used in the production of rhythms and melodies. In all of the work, Brazilian rhythms such as samba, baião, afoxé and maracatu, are present.

The body percussion work of Barbatuques started with the musician Fernando Barboza, known by the nickname "Barba" which ended up baptizing this habit of using the body as percussion instrument in seach for sounds and rhythms.
