are they, do they 区别

楼上说的不清楚。
两者都是用在疑问句，但是are和do作为谓语时候，修饰的部分不同。
are they：are前（后）面一定要接形容词性的词语。
例如：Are they green？green就是形容词

然而，do they：do的前后就要修饰动词了。
例如：Do they play football?
play在这里就是do要提问的谓语动词。

do they后面必须接一个动词，因为DO是助动词而且后面必须是动词原形

are they是they are 变过来的，后面跟形容词或动名词或名词．问的是状态
do they是they do...指做的事情，问的是动作
