a large quantity of +复数名词(可数) 谓语动词是用单数形式还是复数形式

这个用单数
这个和前面的quantity一致,quantity是单数 后面谓语动词就用单数
quantity是复数(也就是quantities) 后面谓语动词就用复数

用单数，如下：
A large quantity of air-conditioners has been sold since the temperature is high.
因为气温很高，有大量空调售出。
