Wanjun - Beautiful weekend here. Clear skies, sunny and warm. Yesterday I did some major house cleaning, and then started working in the yard. I scrubbed the front porch and porch furniture and also scrubbed down the wooden deck in the back yard (I'll need to re--stain it next week after its fully dried out).
Yesterday was earth day - and we went for a tour of the county recycling center.It was actually very interesting and there was quite a crowd. Fin then had a late-afternoon soccer game after which I grilled a rib roast for dinner. Finally we went out for ice cream and walked around a bit.
More yard work ahead today as I need to cut the grass and start weeding the garden. I also want to put up some bird feeders outside the kids' bedroom windows. Yikes, sometimes weekends are more tiring than work days. At least they are more physically demanding - my muscles ache from yesterday's chores.
