【内容提要】世界贸易组织（以下简称WTO）争端解决机制是在GATT的争端解决实践基础上建立起来的,但与后者相比具有显著的进步,不仅在相关程序上有了很大的完善，具有了较高程度的统一性,而且还具有了一定程度的强制性和准司法性。同时，我们又不能忽略该机制在争端解决程序以及发展中国家地位等方面存在着的一些缺陷和不足，这就需要提出相应的对策来完善其制度和程序，并要采取措施切实维护发展中国家在世界贸易组织的平等地位和权利。中国作为一个国际贸易大国，入世后应当更加积极的研究、运用世界贸易组织争端解决机制，在国内普及世界贸易组织的相关知识，并建立对应的国内政策程序。
