computer problem...

my comp got beep sound... i open n readjust the memory ram... but got burn... wat to do now?

at 1st it beep for 8 times continuously........... i tried to readjust the memory stick...... so now the problem is got burn smell come out..... is it short circuit and is there any cure?

What kind of beep sound?

One long one short beep for what,
One long two short beep for what....
