“been”去掉！
continue是非延续性动词，不能说一直cotinue三个小时
1.句子开头the中T未大写。
2.continue为瞬时动词，不可用for来作时间状语。
可改为：The meeting has been on for 3 hours.
continued不能与for连用，它本身带有持续的意思
应该把它置换成lasted
last for 是固定搭配，表示持续，后接时间段
