This morning I had one of the most scary experiences while ordering online.The company is Other World Computing,which employs a secure web server for credit card transactions.After entering my name,address,and a password for use with this company,I proceeded to check out.For reasons I can't remember,I went back to a previous page trying to make some changes.After reloading some pages,I clicked on a button for updating information,and an “Update Customer”page came up.Lo and behold,it was filled with information completed by another customer!His name,billing and shipping address,phone number,e-mail address,and password with Other World Computing showed up on my screen--lucky for him,no credit card number was on this page.
Confused,I called this man up,wanting to find out if it was his real data.I got him at work and found that he had placed an order online with Other World Computing nearly a month before.I told him what I got on my screen and he confirmed all the data was his
