Jin Yong (Chinese: 金庸; pinyin: Jīn Yōng; Cantonese Yale: Gàm Yùhng), born February 6, 1924, pen name of Louis Cha (traditional Chinese: 查良镛; simplified Chinese: 查良镛; pinyin: Zhā Liángyōng), OBE, is one of the most influential modern Chinese-language novelists.
