是several thousand还是several thousands of ?

后面如果有介词宾语用several thousand of.
也许你会很奇怪为什么没有s.
hundred, thousand这样的词若前面是具体的 几个的时候是不用复数的，但如果是概指则用s.
eg. four thousand

several这个词虽然为一些但它表示3-12这个范围，所以我们把它看成是具体的表示数量的词。
