no 后面接名词单复数均可, 他还可以接不可属名词.
根据 no=not a/not any 就可以看出.
选用哪种形式应根据语境
当 no + 名词单数时 表示没有一个
当 no + 名词复数时 表示没有一些,但还是有或存在 只是数量不多
eg:
I have no friends 我没有一些朋友
I have no friend. 我没有一个朋友.

当然有这种说法：
the pros and cons
the yes and nos （nos读得长一点）
the wheres and whats
the hows and whys
...............of something是要强调大量的，正反双方的原因， 疑问等等
