会不会是什么俚语的用法呢？
补充一下前后文：
我们约好去同学家玩，因为我没有车，所以要这个朋友搭我一程。然后他跟我说：
you're completely out of the way! haha, it's okay, sure I'll pick you up.
感觉上应该是句开玩笑的话吧，但是到底是什么意思呢？

B不在A要去的途中,A却帮B的忙， 上下文如下：
A:Where are you exactly?
B:I'm at the library right now，but could you drop by anyway and give me a lift? (搭便车)
A:You're completely out of the way! Ha ha, it's okay, sure I'll pick you up. (even though it's not where I had planned to go 的含义)
