What do you think of human beings?

Human beings like to define themselves or distinguish themselves from animals by dint of their humanity. Yet what constitutes this humanity is still a panoply of taboos and strictures which are marked by the presence of corresponding trangressions which violate these structures. Consider it a construct, but a conceited one. For this reason what I think of human beings is that -- I'd rather not think about them too much.
