香港奥运马术比赛
　　Hong Kong Olympic Equestrian Events

　　马术是人类夥拍马匹参与比赛的项目，亦是少数男子和女子以平等地位参赛的奥运项目之一。
　　"Equestrian" is the name of the sport where an athlete partners with a horse in competition.
　　It is one of the very few sports where men and women compete on equal terms in the same event.

　　奥运马术共分三个项目：盛装舞步赛、场地障碍赛和三项赛。每个项目分为个人和队际组别。
　　The Olympic Equestrian Events comprise 3 disciplines - Dressage, Jumping and Eventing -
　　with individual and team competition in each.

　　盛装舞步赛亦称为「马术芭蕾」，要求马匹做出指定动作，或随音乐自编舞步，展示与骑手的紧密合作，并根据动作的美感及准确性来评分。
　　Dressage is often called "equestrian ballet". The horse is required to perform set movements, or freestyle to music, demonstrating close partnership with its rider. The scores are evaluated by a panel of judges based on the precision and elegance of the movements.

　　场地障碍赛要求骑师和马匹跳越一连串障碍，以最少罚分为目标，并须於指定时间内完成赛事。
