for windows 95 and windows nt
select "settings-control panel"from the "start"menu
run the "display control panel applet"
select the "settings"tab
set the "desktop area"to"640*480 pixels"
set "color palette"to 256 colors
if your video card does not support 256 color mode, you will need to install the most recent directx video drivers for your vide card.a list of video card manufactuers can be found at:

vista玩不了！别听他瞎说！！xp倒是能玩
右键属性-兼容性-用兼容模式运行这个程序 window98-256色 分辨率640*480-确定-ok
我昨天也是的，然后我在百度里面搜索了，但是没有好的答案可以解决， 最后还是自己摸索解决了。
1.首先2台机必须是XP系统或以前的系统。VISTA不支持星际联机协议。
为此我把我笔记本的VISTA换了。而且星际版本要一样的。
2，2台机安装IPX协议，在网上邻居属性里面 安装 栏里面有。
3，最关键的一项-----在 本地连接 属性 已安装的协议中 看IPX协议的属性，
它有内部网络号 初始号码是00000000，所以你和你朋友的号码是一样的。
只要把最后的0改成1，或者改2也行，只要不一样就行了。
4，最后再进去看看吧，突然发现可以联机玩了
