either 只用于两者间的选择，这里whose 没有说明只有两人哦，应该是多人中的选择
1) solve 后半句：我将尽力去解决它
2) besides “除……之外”，John会除了法语外的其他语言么？（这儿用besides暗示他会法语，如果用except则排除法语了，不妥）
