Gray Mold is not only considered the major pestilence which affects the grapes during the flowering and fruiting periods, but it is also the leading disease factor of post-harvested grape berries during storage and distribution process with the highest incidence rate. The damage it works to the quality of table grape is enormous. Grape Gray Mold is often caused by Botrytis cinerea Pers.: Fr., a species of the genus Botrytis. The pathogenic Gray mold found in table grapes develops a latent infection at low temperatures ,causing pathological berries to drop off the grape.
