starcraft was unable to switch video modes. To correct this problem,please set desktip area to 640*480 and color palette to 256 colors and try running starcraft again
for Windows95and windows nt
select settings control panel"from the start"menu
run the "display"control applet select the "settings"tab
set the "desktop area" to "640*480"pixels"
set "color palette"to 256 colors
if your video card does not support 256 color mode, you will need to install the most recent directX drivers for your video card.

应该是此款显卡驱动本身的问题~~可以换几款显卡驱动。
必行的方法是使用窗口化运行

星级版本问题，，建议真实星际发烧友下载原版光盘ISO。硬盘版和买来那种D碟问题多啊。。还少文件。10年前的经典要耍就耍原版，别丢了星际玩家的脸啊。。原版光盘ISO 1.2G左右 硬盘版充顶不过300M
