1、标题页：标题页作为每个手册的第一页均要用透明塑纸进行封塑。显示下列信息：
a. 该手册所涵盖的主题事项
b. 项目名称及地址
c. 递交日期
d. 雇主的姓名、地址和电话号码
e. 雇主的姓名及地址
f. 以参考文献标注出其他相关的操作维护手册
2、目录：设置在标题页后。包括每卷内容的打印目录，根据项目手册格式系统地编排。包括一个包含所有产品的名单，用产品名称或其他适当的识别符号和编码对产品进行标注。
a.当一卷或多卷需录入某一特殊系统的数据时，在目录中标注该卷的位置。
3、概论：根据计算表的内容及编排顺序书写概论，列写出手册中包含的每个产品，根据产品名称编写。在每个产品下列出其名称、包装商（或安装工）和维修承办商的地址和电话号码。明确每一项承担者的职责范围。此外，列出当地可以更换的零件和设备的厂商。
