spike是在1999年10月19日首播的第1季第3集“in the dark"中第一次出现的。而他最后登场是在2004年5月19日首播的第5季第22集“Not Fade Away"中（也就是整部系列的最后一集）

期间，spike断断续续的在24集中出现，但大部分都集中在最后两季的angel中（第4、5季）
