1.间接引语的时态变化一般会引起相关的时间副词，地方副词和指示词的变化。

2.时间副词的变化由转述时间和说话时间的关系决定，如二者不一致，一些词要相应变化，如：tomorrow→the next day，now→then，ago→before，yesterday→the day before，tonight→that night，last night→the night before，today→that day。

He said， "I came back two days ago."

他说："我是两天前回来的。"

(间)He said that he had come back two days before.

他说他是两天前回来的。

3.如转述的地方和说话的地方不一致，地方副词或指示词要相应变化，如here→there，this→that，these→those。

She said， "I was born in this city."

她说："我出生在这座城市。"

(间)She said that she was born in that city.

她说她出生在那座城市。

4.如转述的地方和说话的地方不一致，来往动词come，go在间接引语中要相应变化。

John said， "I came here last week."

约翰说，"我上星期到这里来的。"

John said that he had gone there the week before.

约翰说他前一个星期到那里去的。
