民主并不是要求平等的权利，而是要求不一样的同等权利。
我觉得这句话应该是会出现在类似于竞选或者启发的演讲当中，因为民主是要说出每个人心中的想法，而不是大同，所以是the equal right to be different
the right to be equal 不是真正的民主，真正要实行民主的话就要参与到其中
