I think a good student is someone who tries their best and is honest. A good student also reaches out to others to help with anything another student may not understand.
A good student is one that works their hardest and is enthusiastic. A good student also has the burning desire to learn and probably also participates in class quite a bit.

Good grades is usually a result of this but I think the greater achievement is learning something, perhaps bettering themselves or coming to an epiphany.
