I'm a junior undergraduate student majoring in economics. I study in Pennsylvania State University. I want to know if I finish my undergraduate study with a B.S. in economics, what kinds of jobs can I do ? Or what kinds of master's degree I can choose to study? Or what kinds of certification I should get to make myself a strong candidate in the job market?
Thanks.

well, with BS economics, you should go ahead and get a MBA either in management or finance or marketing.
The problem in economics is you are knowledgeable in theory, but lack working skill. You can go to teach, or research, but not much anything else.
You have to retake all the basic, intermediate and advance accounting courses in order to you to take the CPA examine to work as an accountant. Also, CPA are highly localized and each state has their own CPA examine to get certificates to practice in their own state. For example, Pennsylvania state has their own CPA tests before you can register and work as an accountant there. Go to Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and see if you have 24 semester credits in accounting, before applying the CPA exam.
