Band与Orchestra的区别

band表示乐队，Orchestra表示乐团。

很显然摇滚的通常是乐队，而古典的通常是乐团

那么神秘园、班得瑞这样的呢？
应该是 band 还是 Orchestra ？
或者别的怎么样的翻译？

Orchestra比较正式，一般是级别比较高的演奏团体。

band比较通俗，经常与pop music用在一起

我觉得像secret garden 这种乐队还是用band比较好

orchestra一般仅指交响乐团
小型一些的叫ensemble。
ensemble：a group of musicians playing or singing together

Secret Garden叫duo，因为只有两个成员。
duo：two performers or singers who perform together
而Bandari则是band
