a while back 意思是一段时间以前,或过去的某个时间.也可以用a while ago.

would i ever 过去我曾经...吗?
haven't we ever 难到我门没有....(指已发生的事)吗.?

make it是习惯用语.表示成功完成某事(过程不太顺利或不容易完成的事). 也有赶上的意思.
