一道让我很迷惑的题目

这就要看intend在本句中的用法了
1. 此题相关intend的基本结构是：
sb/sth be intended for sth
sb/sth be intended to do sth
翻译为：“本打算用来...，本被打算做(职业)...”
如： The book is intended for children.
这本书本是写给儿童们的。
I was intended to be a techer.
我本打算做个老师。
2. 结合到本句，也就是说the speech was intended to break the ice
3. 此处用非谓语结构做后置定语，（解释说是插入语，错误）只要把be动词去掉就可以了。
4. 如果用A having intended其实z只是主动结构的完成形式，但是它还是表示the speech和intend之间是主动结构即： sb/sth intend to do sth，而这个结构的意思是"某人/物计划/打算/想要做某事"，与此题想要表达的含义不符合了。

B 是 省略了 was

speech是被动要用be intended to do sth,省略了was就是intended了

因为语态上要用被动，somebody intend the speech to break 。。。所以用过去分词修饰
