other,others,another怎样区分?(望有好心人解答)

other：其他的
others：其他人（物）
another：另一个

1是说两个前提下的另外一个。2是整体分两部分的前提下的另外一部分,指多个。3是三个或以上情况下的第三个或第四五…个,是单个。

other(两个中的)另一个人(或物)
It is hard to tell the twin brothers one from the other.
这对孪生兄弟很难辨认。

others其余的人(或物)
Some boys are reading; others are listening to the radio.
有些孩子在阅读,有些则在听收音机。

another又一个,再一个
The little boy finished his cake and asked for another.
小男孩吃完自己的饼后,要求再吃一块。
