Dear Mr. Smith,

This is Xiao Ming. There is something important happened so that I cannot attend the lecture about computer technology tomorrow morning. It is so attractive to me as I am a computer fancier, but my father will come here to visit me from my hometown tomorrow. He has never been her and we have not seen each other from last year due to my busy lessons. Now it is a good chance for me to talk with him face to face, learn some news about my hometown and show him around the new city. I feel pity about the absence tomorrow. The lecture must be exciting and if it is possible, could you give me some important notes about the lecture for me to learn.
