living和alive当活着的讲时意义和用法有什么区别？

living 是广义的活着，即“有生命的”。alive除了指“living"所指的还偏指“有朝气的”、“朝气蓬勃的”、“有生气”等带积极色彩的意义。
用法：两者均可为形容词。
living一般用前置定语，如：all living things所有生物/ the finest living pianist健在的最杰出钢琴家
alive有一些习惯用法：
～ with sth 情绪饱满(He was alive with happiness.他高兴得眉飞色舞。)
～ to sth 意识到(to be alive to the dangers意识到危险)
bring sth ～ 使……有趣 (Maps and pictures bring the book alive.地图和图画使这本书趣味盎然。)
come ～ 引起兴趣 (The city starts to come alive after dark.这座城市天黑后便热闹起来。)
