What do you think is the purpose of language teaching ?

the most improtant thing is to let your students know how to use it to
communicate,and let them know an oppsite culture that is defenitly different from yours.
language is just a skill or a birdge.

we teach students language for living.we have many bills to pay including rental fee, water, electricity fee and other expenses.
That's my job to teacher language.
the purpose is to survive in this world.

For one thing is to help more people cross the barrier of communication.
For another thing is to make people around the world be closer.

learn others' culture
language is a kind of one country's culture
