1.The headmaster advised the boy to learn law.The parents had discussed their son's future with the headmaster.
我合成的是:The headmaster advised the boy whose parents had discussed their son's future with him to learn law.
答案给的是:The headmaster,with whom the parents had disscussed their son's future,advised the boy to learn law.
为什么要这样合成阿,看起来好别扭，把boy放到最后。那么我合成的对不对呢？老师说答案不唯一。

答案是：The solution was found by the actual processes,of which the conscious mind at the moment of creation knew nothing.
请分析合成后的成分，为什么要用of which阿？which充当主，宾还是表？还有别的合成方式吗？

先来说前面两个定语从句合成用法：做这种题目最快的方法便是：
1.先观察那两个句子中有什么相同的名词，第一句是The headmaster ，第二句是processes，都被选为先行词了 ，对吧？
2.你要斟酌哪一句来当从句比较好，当然要看意思了。
3.最好当你选定，比如说第一句来当从句，第二句来当主句的时候，把从句中的全抄下来，除了先行词用 that /which 代 就可以了。
要注意的是 如果先行词前有介词的话，介词+which 提前。当然就不能用that了，因为that 前没有加介词的规定。
看完了这个，我们再分析你的疑问

当然也可以这么改：The parents had discussed their son's future with the headmaster who /that advised the boy to learn law.
你说答案奇怪，其实不然，英语中很多很是有插入语什么的，这里我就不细说了。
