第二句是第一句的同义句。。。里面的longer than most 我理解不透，不知道是什么意思。。

其中longer than 是“比……长”的意思，至于那个most，应该和后面的of the rivers 放在一起理解，也就是most of the rivers,意思是“大多数的河流”。
