Intel有很多Fab , 封装测试工厂和实验室，在这些地方有许多的workstation用来摆放equipment。往往摆放在workstation上的equipment重量都是非常重的，不易搬动的equipment。而这些workstation都是要承受这些equipment很长一段时间，至少几年吧，那在长时间的重压下，这些workstation往往有的会承受不了重量开始变的有点摇摇欲坠，这样就会产生安全问题，一旦发生workstation倾斜或者倒塌的话就不光光是equipment损坏了，严重的还会导致人员伤亡。如果更换这些workstation的话，那新的问题又出现了，这些equipment都是非常沉重而且已经被固定好了，所有facility都已装好。更换workstation的话，首先要把facility给拆除，然后还要动用大型起重设备把equipment从workstation上搬运下来，再换新的workstation，再把equipment搬上去，最好把facility给安装好，还要进行相关调试，整个TPT非常的漫长，而且cost将会增加许多，这在今年产量非常紧的情况下是不允许的，但是这又关系到safety的问题，怎么办呢？
新的解决方法：
基于以上的问题和矛盾，我们展开讨论，想出了一种新的解决问题的方法――那就是采用support stick。具体方法就是：在workstation四周每个角落安置一根support stick（support stick数量由不同的workstation形状决定），这样就能很好的起到固定workstation的作用，使之更加的牢固。Support stick具体制作方法就是一根结实的铸铁棒底部用粘性很强的粘纸粘住地面或者workstation的支撑角，顶部开一个口，攻丝，然后拧如螺丝和螺冒，旋转螺丝使螺丝一段死死顶住workstation的台面，然后锁死螺帽，这样一个support stick就完成了。Support stick可以随时拆装，如果觉得不需要这个support stick时就可以很简单的把它拆除，也可以反复使用，这台workstation的support stick可以应用到另外一台workstation上，因为support stick的高度是可以调节的，它的另外一端只需拧开螺母，
