在论文中出现的一个短语：
1.We fail to reject the null of no difference.
2.We reject the null of no difference in borrower characteristics in favor of this alternative hypothesis.

在google查过，看起来是一个国外文章论证时常用的短语。
没有差别的作废，就是说由于观察的两个目标没有差别，所以假设无效？

统计学术语

null 表示原假设 也称零假设
表示为 无差别的原假设
If the null of no difference is false, there should be relatively great variation between categories and relatively little variation within categories.

整个意思是：原假设为无差别，如果原假设为错，那么在不同种类之间应该有差别，而同类之间差别较小
