请问“the way they have always been done”这在句中是什么成分？为什么能这样用？
2.Faced with getting from A to B,the average person will...,the innovators will search for alternate course.
请问face本身就是及物动词，为什么后面还有一个with，“Faced with getting from A to B”如果是个省略的形式，那么它的完整式是什么样的？

1, 省略了 by,与后面的the way ----做状语
2,face既可作及物动词也可作非及物动词,Faced with getting from A to B不是省略形式,
