I would like to help you,the difference between Business English and professional English are almost the same,there is a slightly different.You could regard reading ACCA text books as professional English,because the English used is most focusing on Accounting language. In contrast,the Business English is very general and wide.it involves other fields and areas,eg:Business communication,organisational behaviour,marketing,human resource management,strategic management and others.there is no end for learning.
If your purpose is just passing ACCA,reading ACCA text book is useful and helpful in first two stages.If you wanna obtain a good exam result and gain your member certificate,your knowledge is only focusing on accounting field is not enough.you have to read other academic references and journals.For example: the books relating to strategic management,you could select Johnson and Scholes.
