今天中午 英语怎么表示？

I helped my mother do （the) cooking this noon.

1.能不能用this noon. 有this 了，前面就不用加介词了吧？
【this 表今天,但在英语中没人这么用在noon前,因为读起来咬口,听的人也不易明白. 另就是你用 at noon,听的人就能明白说的人是指"今天"了,已有今天的意思,因此不用在加this.但常说this morning,this afternoon,就是习惯,我也不能说this noon就一定错了,因为意思大家都明白,能看懂,就好象中国人不会说:大大的好,什么的干活?一样,但中国人能听懂】
【外国人也不习惯这么用.因为外国人会用在cooking 中. do some cooking for lunch,就听出是指中午,不用在加一个at noon了.】

2.the 这里要不要加？ 感觉要加 好像是固定用法？
【一般是固定用some ,do some cooking,可以不用the,应该是cooking 前没有加the 的习惯,因为一类统称前是不加定冠词the】

3.noon / night 前面如加 介词是那个介词， 是at 还是其他介词？
【表示在中午,晚上,是用攻, 但上下午是用,in the morning,in the afternoon,in the evening, 对比at noon,at night.但 表示能宵,就是over night,through night,对noon也一样.】

要不要 在 介词 后面 再 加一个 the?
【表示在中午,那么是不用加的the.见上面.at night,如果说明天中午,就不用介词at,直接说 do some cooking the next noon就好了.或说next noon,也有人用.】

另in the afternoon=this afternoon. 就不会有in this afternoon的习惯了.因为in the afternoon就已是今天下午的意思了. the 如不别说明就是表示特指今天,当天. 没有 at this noo
