虚拟语气一题

(Had I received) your letter, I would have reitten back two days ago.
为什么不是If I RECEIVED，谢谢 ！！！
打错是written back,是不是If 引导的条件句可以浓缩为省略IF的倒装句？比如就Had i receiveD=if i had reveived呢？

其实had i received 开头是虚拟语气中的特殊的倒装
虚拟语气中
只将were /should /had...等提在句首,not放在原位置:
Had it not been for your help, we could have finished it on time.
Should it not rain tomorrow, we would go outing.
