摘要：采用宝石显微镜、偏光显微镜及常规宝石鉴定仪器，红外光谱、X荧光光谱、光栅光谱分析，对角质型珊瑚进行宝石学特征的初步研究。结果表明：角质型珊瑚几乎为纯有机质成分组成，其主要成分为碘(I)元素，次要成分为氯(Cl)、溴(Br)、钡(Ba)、硫(S)元素。通过实测，获得有关其物理、光学、化学等方面的特性。通过偏光显微镜下研究，讨论了其生长机理和层状结构的成因，也探讨了该珊瑚的红外光谱特征。
