may not be 是不是不符合语法规则啊？应该may be not 吗？
不是说 I am not a 。。。

那怎么不是may be not。。。呢？

may not be相对来说比较符合英语的语法,怎么会不符合语法规则呢?
英语在表达上是个比较随意的语种,不要太在乎这种条条框框的东西,你觉得怎么顺口就怎样说

may not be 也是可以的，就像can not be

他们的意思不一样may not be也许不是，may be not应该是更直接的否定不可能之意.
