很多人不知道的英语问题

watch from 这个短语存在吗？
看这个句子。里面（to watch the whales from ）是什么用法？请高手指点啊？
They were the best place to watch the whales from because of their height.

from 是与前面的 place 一起用的，意思为“从。。。地方” 即to watch the whales from the place

句意：由于地势高，那里是观看鲸鱼的最佳地点（最好的地方）

例如
He found a nice house to live in.
（live in the house）

观赏，欣赏

watch from不是短语

翻译过来是说：
从（from）他们（they，肯定代表一些位置）。。。。

也就是说from还是一个介词的独立使用

我也想知道

watch xxx from the top of mountain.

这里就是“遥望”的意思啊，并不难。

不是短语 FROM是和PLACE用的 换个说法 watching the whales from there is the best way because of their height
