of不能去啊
原来词组就是rob sb. of sth.
现在只是变个被动语态 还是要保持原词组的完整性

rob sb. of sth. 抢劫某人的东西
TOM'S wallet was robbed of by them 把OF去掉有啥区别
改成主动语态：
They robbed Tom of the wallet.
有如：
他轻拍那男孩头。
He patted that boy on the head.
就不可以说：He patted that boy's head.
所以去掉of 就不符合英语习惯了

这是被动语态
主语+BE+过去分词+BY（表示被...怎么怎么样）
所以应去掉OF
