Speaking of my favorite childhood memory, there is no doubt that the baseball final I took part in when I was 11 is the best of all. It happened on the second year of my stay in America.

At that time, my language was much better; I was able to communicate with other classmates and they got to know me better. Because I was eager to do all kinds of activities, so my teacher recommended me to the school baseball team. I was pretty nervous at first; after all, I was facing with a discrimination problem. But the team greeted me warmly, and it help me feel relax. Because a lot of our old team members move up to the middle school team and they didn’t make it to the final last year, the team was in very low spirit. Our coach, who was my PE teacher, decided to rearrange the team and fit some of new comers to the team.
