envisage 与visualize的区别，好象都解释为设想

visualize 名词visual 是“图面”、“图象”的意思，、因此动词visualize 侧重
指在脑海中浮现出某一图象，引申出“想像”的意思。
　　
1）If you don’t tell me anything, it is difficult for me to visualize the
scene.
如果你什么也不告诉我, 要想象出这个情景很困难。
2）Today, it is impossible to visualize / imagine a world without the
Internet.
今天很难设想没有网络的世界。
3）He described the place and I tried to visualize it.
他把那个地方描绘了一遍，我尝试在心中想象那幅图景。

envisage 多用于对未来发生的“想像”或“展望”。

1）No one can envisage/imagine the consequences of a total nuclear war.
没有人能想像一场全面核战争的后果会是什么样子。
2）The escalating price war in real estate is equivalent to an epidemic one
does’t envisage.
不断升级的房地产价格战相当于一场我们想像不到的流行病。

envisage 更大程度上等同于 contemplate/assume/suppose/imagine这几个词，意为设想，假设...
visualize 这个词我深有体会 就是把脑海中的景象做一个呈现
说得生动点就是 “神游九州大地”。
