"移就",按《修辞学发凡》,的定义,是"遇有甲乙两个印象连在一
起时,作者就把原属甲印象的性状移属于乙印象的,名叫移就辞".
如"我的车子慢慢驶过快乐的绿林翠木".《发凡》指出:"快乐本
属于'我',今移属于绿林翠木". ,

的定义,即是Also known as transferred epithet.A figure of
speech in which the epithet is transferred from the appro—
priate noun to modify another to which it does not really
belong.

DLT在例后指出:Clearly the snow is not forgetful but
rather conceals,muffles,"shrouds"the earth,so that for a
time we forget what the earth looks like.
以上两段汉,英定义含义相同,甚至措词都很相似;对例句的剖
析也极相似.它们是汉英两种语言中相互对应的修辞格.
