I think "popular" and "fashion" is different.Popular means something is regarded with great favor, approval, or affection especially by the general public. But fashion means the latest and most admired style in clothes, cosmetics and behavior. Maybe something is the fashion, but it isn't popular. People always think the newest but a little stranger thing is fashion. They like it, because it can tell everybody else it's their personality. But maybe many people don't like it. And we always think the thing which are liked by almost every peole is popular.So I think the difference between "popular" and "fashion" can be seen observely.
