做这样的题目要学会分析从句。第一句的从句you saw the other day中，you是主语，saw是谓语，是个及物动词，后面却没有宾语，所以缺宾语，必须用关系代词that / which，或者也可以省略。
第二句的从句we saw an exhibition the other day中，we是主语，saw是谓语，是个及物动词，后面的exhibition 是宾语，因此主谓宾都齐全了，只能缺少修饰成分。再看前面，必然少了地点状语，所以用关系副词where。
the other day是指过去的某一天。是名词性短语，但可以直接作时间状语。
非限定性定语从句中，关系词一定不能用that——正确。
where和in which（介词+which)常常等同。
如This is the museum where we saw an exhibition the other day.
= This is the museum at which we saw an exhibition the other day.

从句中也有saw，不过却有它的宾语an exhibition ，因此，先行词不再是saw的宾语，而是地点状语，原结构为see an exhibition in the museum。

visit是及物动词，the one是宾语。
4.the other day 意为“不久前某一天”，相当于咱汉语中的“前几天”，一般做时间状语。
5.非限定性定语从句不能用that引导。那几个基本同等，有时会有些区别。
