因为后面有so that所以不能选 A
如果后面旳SO 去掉,就可以选A
It was so cold a day that the street was almost deserted

C 选项不行 .同样要去掉后面旳so. 正确顺序为
It was such a cold day that the street was almost deserted

B 选项不行, too much 是太多旳意思,只有d选项旳much too 才可修饰形容词和副词. 意思昰"太`````"
It was much too cold a day so that the street was almost deserted.

so that在一个句子中只能有一对，so ...so...that或so such that或such so that...都不对
too much相当于much，只是有强调，是形容词
much too相当于too, 有强调,是副词。

因为后面出现了so that,所以A,C被排除(如果要选A或C只能说It was so/such cold a day that...)而B和D的区别是,too much后面跟名词,much too后面跟动词.
